Faking Fashion - Trend-spotting Spring Summer 2013 Swinging 60s - Yellow Mini-Dresses Spotted at Lanvin, Moschino, Mugler, Christian Blanken, Gucci, Dean Quinn and Versus - Yellow was a color found frequently on the runway for Spring 2013 and a few designers also followed suit with the 60s Mod trend. Shift dresses and short hemlines were found amongst the runways this season. Vintage inspiration took a cheerful turn in New York, London, Milan and Paris — and although the Mod look is usually strictly black and white an injection of color inspires thoughts of the 90s by way of the 60s look, that’s not exactly by the book - a combination worth celebrating.
